IMPROVED AIRCRAFT.
(Rec. 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, June 18. A new type of propeller, now standard equipment on all Thunderbolts of the Bth Air Force, gives the fighters a faster rate of climb and is credited with changing them from high-altitude fighters to all-altitude fighters. The new propeller blade is wider, longer, and somewhat heavier than the old type. —British Official Wireless.
