LOS ANGELES, May 31. Details are announced in Washington of a new combat reconnaissance vehicle, “Armoured Car M§, 6x0,” added to the United States Army’s mechanised equipment. Said to combine the speed and manoeuvrability of a jeep with the punch and armoured protection of a light tank, the sixwheeled new car weighs eight tons, and mounts a 37 mm. cannon, and a 30calibre machine-gun.
