STILL VERY ACUTE.
SUPPLY OF TYRES AND TUBES. (P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Minister of Supply (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan) said that the position regarding tyres and tubes was still very acute and control was still vitally necessary to utilise the quantities available to the best advantage. The Minister reminded applicants for tyres and tubes that delivery would 1 lie expedited in approved cases if full particulars were given at the time of application. He expressed appreciation of the work of control committees. These were working voluntarily to help cyclists, and cyclists could help them by a proper appreciation of the position.
