His opponent broke them, and Horace Avent to the table. He potted all 15 reds, and Avith them 12 blacks and 3 pinks (117), then he took all the colours (27), which gave him 144. If only those three pinks had been blacks, he Avould have had the possible for a snooker break, I^.
Horace’s previous record of 141 was made in London. He is the snooker ex- v pert of the family, and has made 35 breaks of 100 or over.
