CAROLS IN CHURCH.
Christmas services were conducted at the Baptist Church yesterday by the Rev. ,T. Browning. Special Christmas music was presented by the choir. At the morning service the choir sang “Carol, Sweetly Carol,” and “See Amid the Winter’s Snow,” the soloist being Miss Edna Blackie. Christmas hymns were included- in the singing. “Unto Bethlehem” was the subject of the sermon. At the evening service the choir sang “The First Nowell,” “When Christ! was Born,” “The Coventry Carol,”l “The Holly and the Ivy,” “Jesus wasl Born,” and the anthem “Glory toj God.” At the conlusion of the ser-l vice the choir led the congregation ini the “Te Beum.” I
