Brent is seen as a young Austrian prince, forced to flee for his life when sudden terror strikes his country and his people; Miss Scott is cast as a fellowexile, who cannot find forgetfulness and peace in the ecstatic romance possible to hei\ In “Honolulu Lu” Don Esteban Cordoba (Leo Carrillo), confirmed imposter and swindler, cheeks into Honolulu’s leading hotel with his niece, Consuelo (Lupe Velez). When she finds him swindling the hotel manager, she walks out indignantly. ’Phoning him from a drug store, she delivers an ultimatum, “I won’t come home until you’ve reformed.” In the drug store, she meets three sailors, Skelly (Bruce Bennett), Barney (Forest Tucker), and Horseface (George McKay). With Aloha (Nina Campana), a native girl, Consuelo goes job hunting, winding up in a burlesque theatre at “Honolulu Lu.” The romance between Skelly and Lu, with his two sailorpals tagging along, turns into a parade of Honolulu’s amusement park, where Lu annexes half the fleet.
