EASIER SPOTTING.
RECORDS IN THE AIR. NEW YORK. Allied airmen on reconnaissance trips over enemy territory can now dictate their observations instead of using the customary pad and pencil. The pilot’s words are spoken into a microphone and caught in a recorder which it is hoped to make by mass production methods. Twenty-six minutes of speech can be recorded on thin wire wound on a spool of Sin. diameter. The recorder weighs only 91b.
