RAIDED AT QUAYS.
FOUR SMALL CRAFT DAMAGED. ( ACTIONS AT CHANNEL PORTS. (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright. k (Rec. 1.25 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 17. Two minesweepers, a trawler and a motor launch were damaged by Typhoons attacking Channel ports held by the enemy on Wednesday. The minesweepers were lying at the quayside of St. Peter Port, Guernsey. Intense anti-aircraft fire came from the quay, but the pilots saw their cannon shells hitting the ships.
Other Typhoons attacked a trawler and motor launch moored in the dock at Lezauoux in the face of intense anti-aircraft fire. Two of our fighters are missing.—British Official Wireless.
