THE WAKANUI MEETING.

The Wakanui Women’s Institute met at the home of the president (Mrs D. Dick). It was decided to send the Institutes’ calendar to the Cuffey Institute (England). It was decided that the next meeting be a children’s Christmas party at the hall on December 8. Mesdames W. Hendrie and W. But* terick, delegates to the half-yearly meeting of the Federation, reported on the last meeting, and were accorded a vote of thanks by Mrs Dick. The monthly competitions, judged by Mrs C.
