TRIAL OF DOCTOR.
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, November 17. Final addresses by counsel were partly heard to-day in the trial of George Brownlee Isdale, aged 51, a medical practitioner, of Ngaruwahia, on eight charges of unlawfully using an instrument or other means to procure miscarriage, and one of eonspii--ing to procure miscarriage. Evidence taken at this hearing since Monday of last week has filled 200 typed sheets of foolscap, containing between 95,000 and 100,000 words. The hearing will be continued to-morrow.
