ASHBURTON STOCK MARKET. GOOD YARDING OF GOOD QUALITY PRICES GENERALLY FIRM. There was a good yarding of good slieep at tlie Ashburton stock sale today, with prices firm. The prices for lambs, however, eased considerably toward the end of the sale. The range for woolly ewes was* Best quality 34s to 38s, medium 29s to 325, and light up to 275. Best shorn sheep up to 295. The principal sales were: Shorn Ewes —On account of H. Abbot, 13 from 30s 4d to 32s 7d; Moore Bros.,' 14 from 23s lOd to 29s Id; clients, 1 at 265, 6 at 30s Id, 5 at 20s 7d, 4 at 25s 4d, 4 at 27s lOd. Woolly Ewes—On account of clients,. 4 at 32s lOd, 4 at 27s lOd, 4 at 22s lOd, 3 at 38s 7d, G at 23s 4d, 1 at 355, 2 at 34s lOd, 9 at 24s lOd, 1 at 355, 9 at 19s 10d, 5 at 31s lOd, 6 at ISs 7d, 6 at 26s Id, 4 at 20s, 6 at 32s Id, 5 at 26s 4d, 7 at 38s 7(1, 5 at 33s 10d, 5 at 30s lOd, 16 at 30s Id, 12 at 30s Id, 1 at 30s, 11 from 27s 7d to 30s 10d.

Hoggets—On account of clients, 1 at 31s, 2 at 40s lOd, 3 at 36s 4d, 2 at 38s. Wethers —On account of clients, 5 shorn at 34s 4d, 1 at 37s 3d, 2 at 40s 4d, 2 at 39s lOd. Lambs —On account of Mrs H. Anderson, 3 at 38s 4d; clients, 3 at 30s 10d, 6 at 32s lOd, 3 at 27s lOd, 22 from 30s. Id to 31s 4d, 3 at 30sTd.

Cattle —One fat cow at £l2 17s 6d, 2 at £ll 7s 6d, 1 fat heifer at £l4 7s 6d, 1 at £9 7s 6d, 1 runner at £2 15s. '
