RADIANT DANCE.

The last heat of the five-guinea Monte Carlo was held at the Radiant Hall Syndicate dance on Saturday night. The successful competitors were Miss E. Tod and Mr W. Heseltine, Misses V. Hurrock and M. Wardell, Miss M. Ede and Mr D. M. Weir, Miss N. Stone and Mr L. S. Watson, Miss B. Sai'gent and Mir B. L. Knox. The first ordinary Monte Carlo Avas won by Miss E. Jones and Mr W. Shaw, with Miss M. Bright and Mr K. Hood second. Those successful in the second novelty were: Mrs McQuillan and Mr J. Taylor and Miss R. Prattley and Aircraftman P. M. Lush were second. Music Avas provided by the Radiant Dance Band. Mr Y. Greene Avas master of ceremonies. Among the very large number present was a party Avho celebrated the coming-of-age of a young man who will shortly enter the R.N.Z.A.F.
