ANNIVERSARY HELD.

A young people’s anniversary was celebrated at the Salvation Army Citadel during the- week-end. Brigadier Allen Hildreth, formerly a commanding officer of the Ashburton Corps, conducted the services. On Saturday evening the young people gave a programme which was much appreciated. Three meetings were held yesterday, the afternoon service being devoted to the prize-giving for the Primary Department and Sunday School. The William Hopwood Memorial Prize of a Bible for the Dux pupil was won by Jean Hill. A Special singing by the children was 1 a feathfe of all the services.
