UTMOST CORDIALITY.
THE THREE-POWER CONFERENCE OPENING OF THE DISCUSSIONS. (Rec. 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, Oct.. 19. The Three-Power Conference has begun in Moscow. Mr Hull, Mr Eden and M. Molotov began work to-day, says Reuter’s correspondent at Moscow. The conference opened in an atmosphere of the utmost cordiality. The “Daily Express” describes the talks as the most significant diplomatic event since the war began. It says: “It is the first determined effort to fashion a brain as well as mighty arms for our alliance. Two single pui’poses take precedence over all the tangled questions of frontiers and spheres of influence which have been discussed. They are, how to win this war quickly and how to prevent any more wars.
