QUEEN MARY TO MOTHERS. LONDON. Sept. 7. “Queen Mary’s Book for India,” published in London by Ilarraps as a tribute to the fighting men of India and in aid of the Indian Comfoi ts Fund, bears a foreword by Queen Mary, ’ who herself has lost a son in this war in the person of the Duke of Kent.
Addressing the mothers of the fighting men she says: “You are constantly in my thoughts, and I know that many of you are anxious, and some are sorrowful; but all are proud of your brave sons.
“My own dear sons have served in the Navy, Army and Air Force, and I share your anxieties, your sorrows, and your pride.”
