GERMAN OUTBURST.
HATRED OF THE ENGLISH. “SCUM WITH HORSE TEETH.” STOCKHOLM. The German campaign of invective against the British and Americans has become more frantic than ever. The Stockholm newspaper “Socialdemockraten” describes it as having readied a bestial pitch for the purpose of stimulating the German people, and adds that Mr Churchill’s speeches provide a refreshing contrast to the barbarism of the German press. The newspaper’s comment referred particularly to passages in the Schwarze Korps, declaring that the Germans have as their war aim against England to free themselves and future generations from “ the English scum with red hair, freckles, and horse teeth, which calls itself the upper class, and also to mete out to a bunch of murderers that punishment which has been given to murderers since justice and decency have existed on earth. . . We know that the English nation —men, women and children —are just one bloodthiisty, hateful creation.”
