REAL SPRING WEATHER. 0 ■ Spring weather has at last manifested itself in Ashburton, for to-day the sun shone brightly and the atmosphere was quite warm. The maximum and minimum temperatures yesterday were 61 and 36 degrees, compared with 55.2 and 34.4 on Monday. To-day the barometer had fallen from yesterday’s reading of 30.13 to 30.11.
TO-DAY’S FORECAST. (P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The forecast for the east coast of. the South Island from Blenheim to Moderate northerly to north-easter-ly winds fresh at times along the coast. Fine apart from scattered morning fogs and some light frosts inland. Cold nights and-moderate day temperatures. Further outlook: Fair, but some rain developing in the ranges.
