TO BE RE-FORMED.
ALLENTON BASKETBALL CLUB. It is intended to re-form the Alienton Old Girls’ Basketball Club to take part in next season’s competitions. A meeting of those interested was held in the pavilion of the Allenton Sports Club on Saturday, Mrs E. C. Bathurst presiding over an attendance of 12. Although the basketball season has just closed, the meeting was held with the idea of giving Allenton players the opportunity of notifying the clubs they belong to at present that they will not continue membership for next season.
Officers elected Avere: President, Mrs Bathurst; vice-presidents, Mesdames J. M. Wilkie, A. Lane and Messrs G. PI. Rollinson and E. C. Bathurst; secretary, 'Miss M. McCorkindale; treasurer, Miss G. Greer. Royal blue and white were selected as thef club’s colours.
