FUTURE OF AVIATION.
FORECAST BY AN AMERICAN. (Rec. 9.40 a.m.) NEW YORK, Oct. 10. The prediction that 500,000 planes would be operating in the United States within a decade and that planes and helicopters would be carrying 20,000,000 passengers a year was made by Mr William Burden, one of the officials of the United States Department of Commerce.
