Latest reports from Switzerland indicate that the Italian Government is giving attention to General Eisenhower's broadcast to-day, though the Rome radio has not yet referred to it. It is reported that political prisoners will be liberated with the utmost expedition and high Fascists imprisoned. * The Chamber of Deputies is dissolved and general elections within four months . after the war are promised. A wholesale change of provincial prefects and high officials is also reported. Tension in the north is rising, but no revolutionary action has yet been taken.— British Official Wireless.
