ANNUAL MEETING.
HINDS P.W.M.U. AND GUILD. Tho annual mooting of the Hinds P.W.M.U and Guild wero hold in the Presbyterian Church, tho Rev. W. Carroll presiding over a good attendance. Tho report and balance-sheet wero very satisfactory. Mrs Mcßae expressed thanks to all for their cooperation. It was decided that the next moctiifg will be field at, Lowcliffe on August 12. Tho election of officers resulted: P.W.M.U.: Hon. president, Rev. W. Carroll; president, Mrs Mcßae; vicepresidents, Mesdamcs Tait, Rhodes and Reddicliffc; treasurers, Mesdames Tar-' botton and Lonnie; secretary, Mrs H. Price ; stamp secretary, Miss 13. McNab; League secretaries, Mrs Smytho and Misses A. Frampton and J. Tarboiton; Harvest Field secretaries, Miss A. Frampton and Mrs Smytho. Girls’ Auxiliary: President, Miss M. McKeage; vice-presidents, Misses A. Frampton and J. Tarbotton; secretary, Miss D. McDowell; treasurer. Miss R. Frampton. Mr Carroll gave a short talk on his experiences at Home Mission Stations. Afternoon tea was served by the Hinds ladies, assisted by members of the Girls’ Auxiliary. *
