TWO FATAL FIRES.
CHILD BURNED TO DEATH. (P.A.) MASTERTON, July 27. Yesterday afternoon Norma Hansen, aged three, daughter of Mr and Mrs George Hansen, was apparently playing in a small shed on the outskirts of the borough containing hay when the shed was noticed to he on fire. Subsequently the body of the child was found in the ruins. WEST COAST PENSIONER. (P.A.) WESTPORT, July 27. A five-roomed house .at Seddonville was destroyed by fire at 11 p.m. on Monday, and the sole occupant, George Alldridge, an old-age pensioner, aged 78, was burned to death.
