TO BE PROSECUTED.
NEW SOUTH WALES MINERS. SYDNEY. July 27. Four hundred coal miners avlio stopped work yesterday on the Northern field, in New South Wales, will be prosecuted under the CoinmonAAealth Government’s now plan for dealing with coal stoppages. The men allege that the bathroom at the mine does not conform Avitli the requirements of tho Mines Regulation Act. Individual summonses wi 11 be issued against the men concerned in the stoppage. This action follows the Prime Misister’s announcement yesterday that the uoav code would lie “enforced absolutely.” Within a. few hours of the codes being promulgated a Common 1 - wealth investigating officer avos on the spot and decided to prosecute.
