ELECTION OF OFFICERS. ' (P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 27. The annual conference of tho New Zealand National Party concluded today. Mr Alex Gordon, of Hamilton, was re-elected president, and the following officers were also appointed : Vice-presidents, Messrs H. C. Savage (Auckland), W. A. Clark (South Auckland), W. A. Veitch (Wellington), G. H. Grieg (Canterbury), G. W. Lane (Otago-Southland); women vice-presi-dents, Dr. Hilda Nortbcroft (Auckland), Mrs Stewart (Southland). Mr Gordon said the party was united solidly behind the leader, and would submit to the electors a sound and progressive and imaginative policy.
