RAIDS ON BURMA.
DIVE-BOMBERS NOW IN USE. (Roe. 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, July 8. British and American aircraft have carried out new raids on Burma. They attacked .Japanese monsoon quarters and supply lines, and R.A.F. dive-, bombers scored bits on a group of Armv hutments north of Ratliodaung. American medium bombers raided railway yards at nine different points. This is the first time it has been officially stated that the Royal Air Force in Burma lias used dive-bombers. The bomber is an American machine for Avliich it is claimed that when its bombs have been dropped it can outpace most modern fighters.
