MURDER TRIAL.
COUNSEL TO ADDRESS JURY.
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 12. Evidence is not to be called in the defence of John Sidney Crawford, a seaman, aged 2G, whose trial for the murder of two United States Marin.es at 17 Terrace Gardens, early in the morning of January 7, was continued in the Supreme Court to-day. This was intimated by his senior counsel, Mr W. J. Stacey, when the ease for the prosecution closed late this afternoon .
Counsel will address the jury tomorrow morning, and his Honor will sum up, iand the trial is expected to end to-morrow.
