Mr Burrows; was in charge of the pillow fights. Children’s races were held.
The candidates in the king and queen competition paraded in wheelbarrows. The queens are Misses D. Copland, A. Doig, J. Baxter and Shaw, a nd the Kings are Messrs F. McGuigan, L. Doig, J. Burrows, and A. Wilkinson. A dance was held in the evening and £I6 was cleared. Mr Pratley’s ba,nd played the': music fop, the dance, which was finanebd h,y Mr W. Robinson, and Mrs W.
