FRIENDLY MATCHES TO-MORROW
Two friendly matches to-morrow will mark the opening of the Rugby football season in Ashburton. They are both third grade, Technical Old Boys y. Old Boys, and Tinwald v. Rakaia. The senior match Army v. Technical Old Boys has been cancelled owing to the former not being able to held a team.
Technical Old Boys team will be selected from the following: • Third Grade v. 'Old Boys—G. Soal, N. Withell, A. Sutton, M. Mcllroy, A. Mason, R. Holloway, A. Sparrow, K. Smith, D. Childs, A. Brooks, T. Tonics, J. ftooper, D. Gourdie, W. Tonks, F. Hill, W. Lindsay, N. Olds, A. Hastings, J. Banks, E. Hume.
