LATE LOCAL.
Two trucks had been nearly hlled with waste rubber, and he was going to ascertain from the railway authorities if a third could be made available, said the Borough Engineer (Mr J. R. Richardson) to r dayi. If another truck could be obtained, there would be no difficulty in filling it. When all the rubber has been loaded it will be sent to the reclamation plant at Christchurch.
The second of a series of four meetings of youth leaders and Sunday School teachers was held under the auspices of the Christian Youth Council in the Baring Square Methodist Hall last evening. Mr G. W. Murray presided over a good attendance. Tho Bev. J. S. Murray gave a helpful address on the spiritual qualifications and work of leaders, basing his talk on tho qualities of faith, hope and love. *
