WELLINGTON, This Day. “Notwithstanding my statement some time ago, in which emphasis was laid on tho danger of sending matches through the post, little improvement is noticeable,” said the Postmaster-Gen-eral (the Hon. P. C. Webb) to-day. “Becently further packages containing matches have been intercepted in tho post. The time has arrived,” said Mr Webb, “when action will 'have to be taken against offenders.
