DOMINANT ROLE.
ANGLO-AMERICAN SEA POWER. (Rec. 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 26. The dominant role of British and American sea power in winning victory was the theme of the First Lord of the Admiralty (Mr A. V. Alexander), speaking to the American Society in London in the Thanksgiving Day celebrations. “It is the united power of sea forces of the United Nations which will destroy Hitler and free Europe, just as the sea power of Britain played a major role in the- destruction of Napoleon and freeing Europe,” said Mr Alexander.—British Official Wireless.
