RESIGNATION OF OFFICIALS. LONDON, Oct. 8. A Vichy report states that the. Prime Minister of Serbia (General Nedieh) has asked to be allowed to resign. The Berlin News Agency says Lieu-tenant-General von Laxa, chief of the Croat general staff, has'been relieved of- his position at his own request, and has retired. Jugoslav circles in. London report that the Germans shot 80 1 Serbs at Zemun, near Belgrade, in the middle of September after a- German hangar at the local aerodrome was blown up. Tt is reported from Moscow that a group of workers was recently arrested at .a' munition factory at Hirtenburg, in Austria, after German inspectors condemned a large consignment of shells.
