A DISHONEST BUYER. (P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Raymond John Watts, aged 28, an Air Force sergeant, formerly a buyer for Woolworths (N.Z.), who had pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to 10 charges of theft, 10 charges of failure to accoiunt, one charge of forgery and one charge under the Socrqt Commissions Act, to-day in the Supreme Court reversed his plea and was sentenced by Mr Justice Blair. The terms of imprisonment amounted to three years three months. The amount involved in the charges exceeded £16,000.
