MAILS LOST.
RESULT OF ENEMY ACTION. . (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 6. The Postmaster-General (the Hon. P. C. Webb) reports the loss by enemy action' of mail from the United Kingdom for the Dominion, including letters i.and printed papers posted in north-west districts from June 18 to 28, from Scotland from June 18 to 27, and elsewhere except Birmingham from June 18 to 2G. Correspondent from Birmingham earlier was not lost. Parcels for New Zealand from all districts from June 16 to 2G were also lost.
