TARGETS BOMBED
RAID ON CENTRAL BURMA. DAMAGE CAUSED AT BARRACKS, ONE BUILDING DESTROYED. (Rec. 11.25 a .ill.) LONDON, Oct. 6. A Royal Air Force communique from New Delhi says: “Our bombers attacked targets in Central Burma yesterday. They bombed buildings and barracks at, Yenangyaung. Targets in Chindnrn and Myittha valleys were also bombed. The damage inflicted to barracks included one building destroyed by a direct hit with a stick of bombs.” — British Official Wireless.
