LODGE MEETING.

THE ASHBURTON FORESTER®. An old members’ reunion night Avas held by Court Ashburton, A.0.F., on Monday evening, when the C.R. (Bro. J. J. A. McKay) presided oA'er a large attendance. Sick pay amounting to £5 10s Avas passed for payment to six members. The Ashburton Druids’ Lodge wrote accepting an invitation to a card evening onCVlay 18. The agenda for the annual District meeting to bo held in Christchurch on May 2 Avas discussed and delegates were advised of the opinions of members on subjects to be considered. Several of the officers expressed pleasure at the large attendance and stressed the need for continued interest on tho part of members, Avho, they pointed out, had an obligation to maintain the Friendly Society movement in a healthy state, and especially to think of the interests of soldier members. It Avas decided to hold a similar meeting in the near future. After the lodge meeting a social evening Avas spent and supper was served.
