BASKETBALL.
CONVENT OLD GIRLS’ CLUB. The annual meeting of the Convent Old Girls’ Basketball Club was held last evening, Miss K. Brosnahan presiding over a good attendance. The report and balance-sheet showed a very satisfactory position. Officers elected were:—Patron, tne Very Rev. Dean J. J. O’Donnell; president, Mr L. Cooper; vice-presidents, Mrs J. B. Cullen, Mrs Lloyd, Mrs PSheehan, Misses A. McCosker and H. Langley, Messrs A. A. McDonald and F. Kennedy; secretary and treasurer, Miss K. Brosnahan; delegates to Association, ’Miss K. Brosnahan and Miss M. Smith; club captain, Miss M. Smith.
