FARMER’S BEQUESTS.

BLIND INSTITUTE BENEFITS. (P.A.) INVERCARGILL, April 21. Bequests totalling £2500 to religious and charitable institutions are provided for in the will of William Walker, a farmer, of Dipton, who died recently. The residue of the estate, which may amount to several thousands of pounds, is to go to the New Zealand Institute for iho Blind, Auckland. Probate has been granted by Air Justice Kennedy, and the value of the estate was sworn at under £OI,OOO. Private bequests total £II,OOO, and after £2500 lias been paid to religious and charitable institutions the residue will be paid to the Institute for the Blind. Death duties will be. substantial. but if the property can he disposed of at a near valuation the residin' will he fairly large.
