AIRMAN HONOURED.
NEW ZEALANDER WINS D.F.C. LONDON, April 20. Flight Lieutenant Alexander Frame, a New Zealander, has been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. The citation states that Flight Lieutenant Frame has completed a large number of operational sorties. Once, operating from Britain, he carried out a patrol in search of five enemy ships, entailing a flight lasting for hours. Since then he has performed excellent work in the Mediterranean zone. During the evacuation of Greece, Flight Lieutenant Frame operated with great success, and was responsible for the safe evacuation by air of more than 200 personnel. He has throughout displayed great skill, courage and devotion to duty.
