BAG-SNATCHING.
WOMAN ROBBED OF £2OO. ACT BY YOUTH ON BICYCLE, CHRISTCHURCH, This I)av. Riding swiftly on a footpath behind her on Saturday afternoon, a youth on a bicycle snatched a handbag containing nearly £2OO in cash, besides a number of other articles, from' Mrs A. S. Soft, while she was walking along South Crescent Road, 'Spreydon. Mrs Scott, who is 70 years of ago, had boon shopping and was returning to her home, when a youth, aged about 17, rode up swiftly and snatched her bag and made off along Barrie Street. He was accompanied by another youth who was riding on the road.
