AIR RAID ON BANGKOK.
WIDESPREAD DAMAGE CAUSED. R.A.F. LOW-LEVEL ATTACK. (Rcc. 1.50p.m.) RANGOON, Jan. 25. A heavy force of Royal Air Force bombers made a low-level attack on Bangkok last night, inflicting widespread damage. The powerhouse received a direct hit. All our planes returned. Following the attack the Berlin News Agency cpioted a Bangkok announcement that Thailand had declared war on Britain and the United States.
