KILLED BY A TRAIN.
CAUGHT ON RAILWAY BRIDGE. WANGANUT, This Day. Trapped on the railway bridge at Silverhope, 12 miles north of Martnn, Air AVilliam Kepson Morton, a sheepfarmer, aged 02, was run down and killed by the south-bound Limited Express at 6.5 a.m. to-day. Inquiries by the police reveal that Air Morton was running to get clear of the bridge when he caught his foot and fell in front, of the train. The bridge is only 30 yards south of Silverhope, and Afr Alorton’s property is on both sides of the railway lino. He was in the habit of making an inspection of his sheep between 5 a.m. and G a.m. each day, making the rounds on one side of the line and returning by way of the other,
