' ACTION IN UNITED STATES. (Roc. 12.5) NEW YORK, Jan. 23. Tile Maritime Commission has asked shipping companies engaged in the Atlantic, [Pacific and coastal trades to cancel projected sailings, because the commission is taking over all ships of over vSOOO tons for essential services.
