JAPANESE AT KWANTUNG. ’ TWO MOTOR-BOATS SUNK. (Rec. 2.0) CHUNGKING, Jan. 21. A communique states that 400 of a 1000 Japanese besieged at Kwaiyang. on the Honan front, were hilled while attempting to •break out. Chinese units operating in the C'anton-Kwan-tung area routed Japanese outposts and sunk two enemy motor-boats off the shore. Successful sorties were made at Hupeh. Additional Chinese reinforcements joined! the British defenders of. Burma.
