ST. JAMES THEATRE. “FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE” An outstanding entertaining threestar hill has been selected for Thursday and Friday, commencing at 7.45 p.m.. and also at 2 p.m. i on Friday, with chapter 8 of the great serial “The Drums of Fu Manchu.” An exciting drama. “Fugitive from Justice.” is a triangle story, hut not the usual eternal one. Participants in a three-cor-nered chase are the police, a daring insurance agent, and a- gangster chief aided and abetted by his tough henchmen and a double-dealing, blonde, night club songstress. Roger Pryor, Sheila Bromley and Lucille Fairbanks are featured in this high speed, devoid-of-dull-moment film. A saucy story of a district attorney who falls in love with a. girl lie’s trying to send to prison is presented in Paramount’s “Remember the Night,” and starring Barbara Stan wick and Fred McMurray. Gay and light hearted with comedy and music, it is masterfully directed and acted.
