CATANIA AGAIN BOMBED. FIRES AND EXPLOSIONS CAUSED. MORE RAIDS ON MALTA. (United Press Association—Copyright,) (llcc. 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 20. A Royal Air Force Middle East communique states: “The aerodrome at Catania- (Sicily) was successfully raided by our fighters on Sunday night. Many explosions were caused and fires were visible at a considerable distance from the target. During yesterday enemy aircraft were attacked and a number set on fire. “In Libya continued bad weather greatly hampered all our air operations. “Enemy aircraft raided Malta on Sunday night and again yesterday. In daylight attacks our fighters inteicepted an enemy formation, severely 7 damaging a number of Junkers 88 and Messersclimitts 109. “From these and other operations one of ours is missing."—British Official Wireless.
