“Among all the persons I met, the crews of the flying-boats were the only ones who believed that Japan was about to come into the war,” said Mr W. N. Satterthwaite, who recently completed a return trip to India by air, in the course of a talk to the executive of the Dunedin Manufacturers’ Association recently. “These men,” Mr S'atterthwaite added, “were quite definitely of the opinion that Japan was on the eve of some big movement, and did not hesitate to say so.”
