COOL NORTH-EAST WIND. A cool north-east wind blew strongly in Ashburton to-day. Conditions were bright and sunny this morning, but later the sky became overcast. Maximum and minimum temperatures yesterday were 64.4 and 43. S degrees, compared with A 7.3 and 37.0 degrees on Monday.
