BRITISH LIFEBOAT COXSWAIN.
OVER 600 LIVES SAVED. . ’ LONDON, November 19. George Henry Blogg, coxswain of the Cromer lifeboat, when he returned to-day after spending seven and a half hours in a vain search for a fighter pilot who had baled out, learned that hediad beeyi awarded his ninth decoration—the British Empire Medal. The Cromer lifeboat, under Coxswain. Blogg since the beginning of the •war, has saved more than GOO lives. Blogg has already won the Lifeboat Institution’s highest award three times /the 0.8. E., the George Cross, and other decorations, for bravery.
