ASHBURTON STOCK MARKET.

SMALL YARDING TO DAY. A LITTLE CHANGE IN PRICES. The Ashburton stock sale to-day consisted of a small yarding of fat sheep. The prices that ruled at Tinwald last week were maintained but there was an easing tendency as the sale advanced. There was a fair entry of fat lambs.

Up to midday the top price was for a pen of 3 lambs at 27s Id, sold on account of C. F. Frampton (Wakanui). Fat ewes ranged from 8s lOd to 18s lOd. The principal sales up to midday were: —
